Scientific Interest

The comprehension of the molecular mechanisms involved in the physiology of human cells requires the development of new bioinformatics and biostatistics tools able to integrate and interpret the huge amount of data derived from different kind of genome-wide approaches. Recent technological developments made feasible the investigation of different aspects of cellular functioning by genome-wide approaches now requiring new bioinformatics tools for data analysis. The aim of our research is the development and the application of new bioinformatics methodology in the study of molecular mechanisms acting in the cell in normal or pathological conditions.
