Camilla Evangelisti works in the area of signal transduction, studying inositide-dependent and PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling pathways in different cell types, following 3 main topics:
-Study of DGK lipid-dependent signal transduction pathways in myogenic cells.
-Study of involvement of PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway in drug resistance and the effect of targeted therapeutic drugs used in human leukemia cells.
-Study of laminopathies and lamin-associated signaling pathways.
She is author or coauthor of 60 papers: the total Impact Factor of papers on peer-reviewed journals, according to the ISI-JCR, is over 300. H-index (Scopus): 27.

2006: PhD student in Human Morphological and Molecular Sciences, University of Bologna, Italy
2003: Degree in Biological Sciences, University of Bologna, Italy. Final grade: 110/110 cum laude.
