Competenze:         

Biologia cellulare e molecolare del nucleo e dell’involucro nucleare.

Differenziamento muscolare, osseo, adipocitario. Colture cellulari stabili e primarie.

Espressione di proteine wild-type e mutate in cellule stabili e in colture primarie.

Microscopia ottica e immunofluorescenza.

Descrizione attività:

Studio delle lamine e dell’involucro nucleare. Organizzazione funzionale del nucleo e della cromatina.

Studio delle laminopatie: distrofie muscolari e lipodistrofie da mutazioni di proteine dell’involucro nucleare (distrofie di Emery-Dreifuss, Familial partial lipodystrophy),  laminopatie progeroidi (Progeria di Hutchinson-Gilford, Displasia mandibuloacrale) e sindromiche (Restricitve Dermopathy).  

Studio delle implicazioni delle proteine dell’involucro nucleare nel differenziamento muscolare, adipocitario e osseo
