How aging is slowed down

Scientists and the Age-It project, coordinated by the University of Florence with PNRR funds

The Italian newspaper “Corriere della Sera” published an article on January 13, 2025 about the Age-It project.

“We are not searching for the elixir of life. Sammy Basso and IGM

IGM colleagues remember Sammy Basso, a brilliant researcher, a friend, a guide in our work.

Sammy had a love of life and was always friendly, ironic and cheerful. We will continue studying progeria with Sammy’s enthusiasm, being even more motivated by the influence he had on each of us . Thank you Sammy!
